Garza "aortabean" (houston, texas) - i am hispanic and have thick, course curly hair and not only did the sedu leave my hair straight with no frizz whatsoever, it also left it very soft AND shiny & it stays like that until i wash it again! it's so strange to know that it's MY HAIR because it looks and feels so different. it actually looks healthy and natural! it even stands up to the humidity of houston. i used to go to the salon to have my hair Jennifer Aniston Sedu Flat Ironed because i never had the patience to do it myself; it would take the salon ladies two hours to straighten my hair! i was getting tired of throwing my money away at the salon so i decided to try to do it myself. i bought the sedu after reading all the great reviews on folica and it only took me a little over an hour to straighten my hair on my first attempt! this is coming from someone who can't even use a blowdryer correctly. now that i have more practice, my straightening time has been reduced to about 35-45 minutes with Jennifer Aniston Sedu Flat Iron. i have yet to see any damage to my hair but i also deep condition it like crazy so that may be why my hair is so healthy. my suggestion to people with super curly hair is to wash it at night and then let it air dry while you sleep instead of blowdrying, and then straighten it in the morning. using a deep conditioner is also a plus. definitely worth every penny.
